Exporting jobs to Mexico

This story came out last week in the lead-up to a holiday weekend and I missed it.  Mea culpa.  But it is important to note . . .

The assembly line at the Chrysler plant in Fenton is now idle.  Forever closed, despite the $7.5 billion dollars that our elected representatives "lent" to that formerly American and formerly giant automobile manufacturer.

What's worse?  Chrysler isn't closing the plant because it no longer needs to manufacture the Dodge Ram that had been built in Fenton.  Nope.  Instead, Chrysler is closing the American plant and shipping production to Mexico.

Great investment that bailout was, eh?  Was the point to save Mexican jobs?  Because, apparently, that's what happened.
