I'm no fan of convicted sex offenders but I still give credit to the Missouri Supreme Court. Today, by a 4-3 decision, the Court determined that additions to the list of restrictions on convicts enacted years after their crimes, trials, and sentencings could not apply retroactively. (Link to story here.)That's good news for those of us writing blogs that are currently legal.
