Oink!

Citizens Against Government Waste has released the 2008 Pig Book.

$17.2 billion in earmarks.  That's a heck of a lot of waste.  But, unfortunately, that massive amount of money seems like a drop in the bucket these days.

Nonetheless, earmarks must end.  The old saying goes . . . pigs get fat but hogs get slaughtered.  It is time to slaughter the hogs in the 2010 elections.
