Scientists at Stanford University have "successfully" created sperm cells and eggs from embryonic stem cells in the hopes of creating a cure for infertility. (Link to story here.)To put it bluntly, these scientists have chosen to kill one human being in order to potentially create, through unnatural and artificial means, another.
We are, right now, eating fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
