Barack Obama's old Senate seat is up in 2010 and his state has swung to the left in recent years but Congressman Mark Kirk has Politico referring to Illinois as "a major Senate battleground."Too bad that Kirk isn't conservative (he voted for cap-and-trade) but maybe we should take what we can get in Illinois.
